How FamTimer works
You start it. Their device rings.
Kids shouldn’t need to tap Start every time. Parents set the timer; CloudKit syncs it; AlarmKit rings on the kid’s device — even when they’re away from the screen.
Start from Mac, iPhone, or iPad
Quick chips, custom hour/min/sec wheels, and saved durations. See when the timer ends in local time before you start.
Rings on the kid’s device
Assigned kid devices schedule AlarmKit locally after sync. Pause, resume, and cancel from the parent side.
Parents stay in the loop
Get a local alert when a kid timer finishes or is canceled. Optional Shortcut helper can open FamTimer when a timer starts on the kid’s device.
Kids with their own devices join with an invite, or use the same iCloud when they don’t.
